Handmade ceramics in Pollença, Mallorca
We are ABCO Pottery Studio , Apolonia and Bernat, a couple of artisans and our passion: ceramics. We have our workshop in the town that has seen us born and grow both as people and as potters: Pollença, located in the north of Mallorca and known for being a place where politicians like Winston Churchill have come to spend their vacations, to paint their landscapes. like Anglada Camarasa or Tito Cittadinni, and where Agatha Christie found inspiration to write some of her books.
The colors of Majorca, our inspiration
The landscapes of our northern corner of Mallorca with its beaches, coves, cliffs and mountains, is what inspires us in our work: the blue and turquoise of the sea, the yellows, reds and oranges of sunrise and sunset. .
Third generation of master potters
For three generations, ceramics have been linked to our family, starting with the grandfather making tiles, his father making construction materials: tiles, water channels, pots, and now, Bernat, first making materials like his father and now with his wife Apolonia, products for the home, both for decoration and kitchen and tableware. Creating a piece from scratch, molding it, baking it, painting it, glazing it and seeing how it goes to a place where it is appreciated and pampered as much or more than we are, is the greatest satisfaction of our work.
